movement is essential! On this page I want to encourage you to get out of your head and into your body. Many of you know me as a somewhat unstoppable dancer at heart. Come dance with me sometime or try out a yoga class at one of favorite locations listed below. Movement can take infinite forms. Hiking. Biking. Rock climbing. Ping pong. Martial Arts. Running. Croquette in your garden. Swimming. Kayaking. Dancing alone in your living room. Whatever form it takes for you, I encourage you to get out and do it. There is so much freedom available out there.

spirit dance:
Come together with others who simply want to dance. Jason Fayen and I host an awesome evening of totally freeform dance. This is not a class, and it is not club. It is an ever-evolving community of people who absolutely need to dance. We strongly feel that as a community moving together we can make an incredible difference. We'll play the music, we'll hold the space. All you need to do is show up & dance. Spirit Dance's regular schedule is currently on hold. Please contact me or djbreeze@stephouse.net for more information.

breathwork:
Several times a year I facilitate small groups in a wonderful process known as Conscious Breathing or Rebirthing. Rebirthing is a powerful and very simple, breath-focused form of "therapy". It is also an ancient yogic process through which one can release stuck emotions, eliminate stress, alleviate physical pain and access a new level of peace and personal power. For centuries, healers of many disciplines have focused on the beautiful healing power of the breath - its relationship to detoxification, release, freedom and spirit. It is truly an amazing personal growth process. For more information drop me an email at info@simplyleonie.com

yoga:
I have been studying yoga, predominantly shadow yoga, for over four years, and can't seem to do without it. It has changed my body, but more importantly my life - showing me a road to peace, and often sweetness, on the days when my head won't stop second guessing or doubting. Whether you're an "old pro" or can't imagine trying to touch your toes, I truly recommend checking out one of the following great locations for yoga in this town. I don't think you'll regret it.

The Yoga Shalas of Portland
Near East Yoga Studio
Yoga Pada
The Yoga Space
Amrita Yoga Sanctuary
